Student Success

The mission of Student Success is to support each student's academic and professional journey in and out of the classroom through high-impact practices and experiences that foster academic success, retention, and timely degree completion. Additionally, Student Success supports the ABAC community by providing professional development support through educational workshops, learning presentations, forums, and proactive advising outreach.

A University System of Georgia award-winning department for advising and student success, Student Success is the go-to department for students and houses Academic Support (composed of the Academic Support Counselors and Testing Center), Accommodation & Disability Services, the Career Center, the Counseling Center, and the Tutoring Center. Student Success is committed to helping students achieve their full academic and professional potential from orientation to graduation and beyond, through an approach that focuses on the whole student.
